We are now into mid August and with the weather being very changeable at present the usual Summer products are not in such demand, charcoal etc.
Some things to be mindful of are the seasonal nuisance of wasps and their nests, we carry the wasp nest powder and foam, you must be aware that the foam is only really effective if you can see the entire nest, in a shed for example. It is always advisable to use both in the evenings or early mornings when the wasps are less active.
There is a very widespread problem with carpet and clothes moths presently, we carry many moth killing products to kill and protect clothing and carpets.
The gardeners out there may find our green manure seed useful, we have a 200g pack for £1.50. It can be sown in the Autumn Aug/Sept to overwinter and dig in come the Spring. This is any easy way to keep any patches used and a good form of ground feed.
Dont forget your jam jars and jampot covers, we have the 1lb and 2lb jam pot covers. There seems to be plenty of plums and damsons around this year.
